Hanna begins principal photography next week. The adventure thriller will be directed by Joe Wright (Atonement). Studio Babelsberg is the executive production company. Focus Features holds worldwide rights to the movie. The movie will shoot in Finland, Morocco, Bavaria, Berlin and at Studio Babelsberg.

Alwin Küchler is the director of photography and Lucie Bates is the costume designer. Joe Wright is reunited on Hanna with several long-time collaborators, including film editor Paul Tothill (Pride & Prejudice) and the thrice-Academy Award-nominated team of production designer Sarah Greenwood and set decorator Katie Spencer.
