About Don Julio
The Don Julio story began in 1942, when the young Don Julio González saw a unique opportunity in the production of tequila. It was his tireless passion that inspired him to create the best tequila. Although he did not have the financial means himself, he convinced an influential businessman of his idea. He eventually founded his first tequila distillery, "La Primavera", in the highlands of Jalisco in Mexico. To this day, numerous high-quality tequila varieties such as Don Julio Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Primavera, 70 Cristalino, Rosado, 1942 and Ultima Reserva have been created. Mexican passion, tireless dedication and excellent taste have always characterized the Don Julio tequila brand.
