The modern fx.center production complex features three fully equipped studios for film, TV, and advertising productions, two of which also support hybrid filming.

Studio 10 features options for a green screen, blue screen, or black molton backdrop (including cove lighting) and height-adjustable ceiling trusses.

The Studio Babelsberg LEDcave offers ideal conditions for virtual production in Studio 11 – with an LED volume measuring 15 meters in length and five meters in height, two mobile LED rovers, and a movable LED ceiling. Real-time filming can be achieved using cloud technologies, generative AI, and in-camera VFX.

In addition, Studio 11 offers excellent conditions for SFX shoots, featuring a high-performance exhaust system for pyrotechnic effects as well as water supply and drainage for wet-downs (rain/water scenes).

Studio 12 features a Grey Stage/Grey Box: In this neutrally lit studio, equipped with tracking markers and gray walls, elements can be flexibly implemented using AI-supported processes, digital environments, backgrounds, and visual elements.

The fx.center features two cinema auditoriums, conference rooms and areas for rent, e.g. for events, as well as 3.000 sqm of office space on four floors and an underground parking lot. For more information please visit the website of fx.center Babelsberg.
