The European Film Promotion announced today the ten best European newcomer actors. These remarkable acting talents will find themselves in the spotlight as participants in the SHOOTING STARS 2011 showcase taking place February 12-14, 2011 at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). Studio Babelsberg is supporting the SHOOTING STARS as main partner. The ten young actors were chosen by a jury of established film industry professionals for their outstanding work in feature films. The highlight of the event is the presentation of the talents on the main stage of the Berlinale Palast on Monday, February 14, 2011, where they will be awarded the SHOOTING STARS AWARD.
We are pleased to promote these incredibly talented young actors and congratulate all of them. In particular, we are thrilled to hear about the SHOOTING STAR AWARD for Alexander Fehling. His acting performance in our production Inglourious Basterds was outstanding.
