The Art Department is the creative and technical heart of Studio Babelsberg.

From the very first idea to the final production design – we plan and realize the complete set construction for film and TV projects. Whether interior sets or exterior backdrops – we turn your vision into reality.

The Art Department carries on Studio Babelsberg's grand tradition of film architecture, a tradition that reaches all the way back to films such as Metropolis and The Blue Angel. We expand the nearly 100 years of experience to other fields, e.g. theme parks, brandlands, trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
